About Me

Embrace Your Wave Today

Hi, I'm Amanda.

If you've landed here, you might be carrying a lot

- responsibilities, expectations, and/or emotional weight.

You may look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed underneath it all.

"It's not that you are too much.

It's that you've been carrying too much."

Hello & Welcome

I guide overwhelmed women back to their rhythm through nervous system centered yoga and mindful practices.

Embrace Your Wave was founded by me, Amanda, as a supportive space where:

- regulation comes before productivity,

- presence replaces pressure,

and

- sustainable strength is cultivated from the inside out.

Before I created Embrace Your Wave, I was navigating the full weight of work, motherhood, and the invisible mental load that so many women carry.

As an educator and a parent, I knew how to show up for others - but I didn't always know how to regulate my own nervous system. I felt overwhelmed inside, and it showed in how quickly I reacted and how exhausted I became.

This isn't about becoming someone new. It is about returning to who you are beneath the overwhelm.

My Story:

I didn't create Embrace Your Wave because I had it all figured out. I created it because I kept living the same cycles. I was pushing through exhaustion, saying yes when I meant no, reacting in relationships, and feeling ashamed. I thought I needed more discipline or control.

What I actually needed was to stop overriding myself.

No one taught me how to work with my nervous System.

Instead, I was taught to perform, to hold it together, to keep going.

The result?

Overwhelm.

Patterns repeating.

Exhaustion disguised as composure.

Through yoga, nervous system work, and self-reflection, I discovered something powerful: Regulation creates rhythm.

This is how I returned to my rhythm - and it became the foundation of my work.

You don't need to be perfect.

You don't need to do it all.

You just need a place to start,

at your own pace.

What I Do Now:

I help women who carry too much stop overriding themselves so they can respond instead of react. This work isn't about perfection or trying harder. It is about noticing patterns, softening into awareness, and building sustainable rhythm from the inside out.

When your nervous system is regulated, your relationships, family, and life feel different. You feel different. You stop repeating cycles that keep you stuck, reactive, or exhausted.

An Invitation For You

If you've been carrying too much - feeling the weight of it in your body, mind, or relationships - you don't have to do it alone.

Return to Your Rhythm is here to help you reclaim your energy, awareness, and calm - without abandoning your responsibilities and the people you love.

Who Is This For: Every BODY

The 6 Steps to

Stop Carrying

Too Much

Feeling overstimulated, reactive, or exhausted doesn't mean you're failing. The Rhythm Method is a simple, step by step framework to help women notice patterns, regulate their nervous system, and respond instead of react.

Steps:

Arrival -> Listening -> Softening ->

Noticing -> Responding -> Integrating

These steps are used in my individual sessions, YouTube channel, membership community, and my courses.

My Approach

Embracing Your Wave By Listening & Returning to Your Rhythm

I offer nervous-system-informed yoga and regulation practices designed to fit real life. This work isn't about fixing yourself or pushing through. It is about learning how to listen, respond, and return to what feels steady - again and again.

Everything here is shaped by the belief that support should feel accessible, flexible, and kind.

What Guides This Work

Image

Listening & Choice

Practices are offered as invitations, not instructions. You're encouraged to listen to your body and choose what feels supportive in the moment.

Regulation Over Performance

This isn't about doing more or doing it "right." The focus is on supporting your nervous system and building a sense of safety, ease, and capacity.

Image

Rhythm Instead of Rigid Routines

Rather than fixed schedules or strict plans, we work with gentle rhythms that adapt to changing days, seasons, and energy levels.

Image

Presence Over Pressure

We slow down and stay connected to what's happening now, instead of pushing through or striving to keep up.

Image

Model What We Want to See

Regulation, rest, and repair are demonstrated - not demanded. Especially for children, learning happens through what's modelled, not what's enforced.

Image

Boundaries Over Burnout

Care is only sustainable when limits are respected. Rest, pause, and saying no are part of the practice.
